Qayamuddin Ansari, a dedicated SHO from Bihar's Gaya district, met a gruesome end when his bullet-riddled body was discovered in the fields of Ranipur village. Investigations led the police to the main accused, Shane Ali Khan, who was hiding in New Delhi with two other accomplices. The police apprehended the trio during a joint operation in Jamia Nagar.

As per reports, Shane Ali Khan and his brother Shaukat Ali, notorious criminals in the area, were involved in the murder. They were reportedly upset with Ansari as he had put a stop to their extortion attempts in the region.
