The Inside Story

The Delhi Police have arrested four people, including the wife of a man who was found murdered in Ranhola two days ago. The woman, Santwana Sharma, reportedly had an affair with one of the accused, Sandeep, and plotted the murder with him and two others, Jitender and Subhash Sharma.

The victim, Santwana's husband, had discovered the affair and threatened her with dire consequences. The accused abducted the victim in a Tata Ace mini-truck, took him to Ranhola, strangled him, and then run him over with the truck.

Santwana gouged out the victim's eyes after the murder. The accused then dropped the body beside a canal and fled. Santwana filed a missing complaint with the police, but her call records led the police to suspect her involvement in the crime. She has confessed to her involvement in the murder and paid Rs 30,000 to Sandeep for his role. The police have registered a case of murder against the accused based on the injuries on the victim's body.
