Mumbai Woman Arrested for Forcing Sister into Flesh Trade
In a shocking case of betrayal, a 25-year-old woman named Firdosh Khan has been apprehended by the Malwani police in Malad, a western suburb of Mumbai, for pushing her 12-year-old sister into prostitution. This heinous act of exploiting her own sibling has sent shockwaves throughout the community.
The disturbing saga involves not only Firdosh Khan but also her husband, Mohammad Irfan, who has been arrested for raping the minor in their home while Firdosh was absent. Khan had promised her elder brother that she would take care of their younger sibling and provide her with the best education in Mumbai when she visited their home in Muradabad, Uttar Pradesh. However, once in Mumbai, she kept the girl confined to their residence, where her husband repeatedly subjected her to sexual abuse. Eventually, Khan coerced her into engaging in prostitution.
Fortunately, the brave victim managed to contact her brother for help two days ago. He, in turn, informed a friend in Mumbai who promptly alerted the police. The girl was rescued from their clutches, and both Firdosh Khan and Mohammad Irfan have been remanded to police custody until Monday.
