This is the story of a girl who has been alone in the world for the past five years, serving time in a district jail for a crime she may not have committed. She was only nineteen when she was imprisoned, and her only crime was being poor. Her family lived in a rented house with her parents and younger brother. The economic condition of the household was very weak, and one day the landlord threw them out of the house in the middle of the night. The whole family ended up on the street, and bigger trouble came when Seema's father left the family and disappeared.
After wandering the streets hungry and homeless for days, Seema found a savior in the form of a taxi driver who gave her shelter in his home. After a few days, the taxi driver dropped her off at the house of a relative, where she began living as a maid. Seema lived there for five years without any problems, until her mistress accused her of theft and reported her to the police. Seema was arrested and sent to Mirzapur Jail, where she has been imprisoned for almost five years now.
Seema's case is still in trial, and it is uncertain when she will be released from jail. She has no one to bail her out or get her case heard quickly, so she remains locked up on charges of theft. This story shows that those who have no one in the world have to face only troubles, and Seema's story is a testament to that.
